NIFAA "Outdoor" League

NIFAA Outdoor League Rules

  • The NIFAA Outdoor League will be entirely separate from the NIFAA Field/Hunter and Bowhunter Championships.
  • The Outdoor League will consist of four shooting rounds, two Field or Hunter, and two Bowhunter.
  • The Outdoor League will run from the date of the first qualifying event of the year until the NIFAA Bowhunter Championships of the same year.
  • Scores from the Field and Hunter Championships and the Bowhunter Championships will not count towards the NIFAA Outdoor League.
  • Field or Hunter scores may be from one of each round or two from either a Field or Hunter Round.
  • Scores from the Bowhunter Round must be from unmarked 3D Rounds of any type. Scores from unmarked/marked 2D Rounds and marked 3D Rounds will not count towards the Outdoor League.
  • Archers may shoot in as many events as they wish. Only their highest scores from each category will be counted, two from Field or Hunter and two from Bowhunter.
  • If an archer fails or is unable to record a score in one of the categories, that is Field/Hunter or Bowhunter they may not substitute a score from the other category.
  • An archer who does not submit at least three scores will not take the title of Outdoor League Champion. This applies to all age groups.
  • All qualifying Rounds must be recognized IFAA Rounds held under IFAA rules.
  • Only Rounds held in Northern Ireland by NIFAA recognised clubs will qualify.

Archers entering any Outdoor League-eligible shoot do so with the agreement that they have read and understand all the rules.

Enquiries and results should be sent to the Tournaments Officer at: nifaacoaching@gmail.com enquiries/results sent elsewhere cannot be dealt with/will not be included in the Outdoor League Table.

(Please note: All scorecards are retained by NIFAA).
